Fireball Symbols may land on all reels. Fireball Symbols have an important role even though they do not have a payout value. Fireball Symbols will transform after landing on a reel, displaying a colour that corresponds to 1 of the 5 Phoenix Eggs above the reels.

Area Link is triggered randomly when 1 or more Fireball Symbols land on the reels. Area Link will be played with an Upgrade or multiple Upgrades determined by the Fireballs and corresponding Phoenix Eggs that triggered Area Link.

Area Link is played on special reels. You will start with 3 Respins. Only Fireball Symbols may land on the reels. Each Fireball Symbol displays a random Cash Prize or Jackpot. Prizes are based on a multiple of the current bet. Jackpots are Mini (10X current bet), Minor (20X current bet), Major (100X current bet) and Grand (5,000X current bet). Fireball Symbols will lock on the reels, resetting the number of remaining Respins to 3. Area Link will end once the Respins run out, adding up and awarding all Cash Prizes and Jackpots on the reels. The Grand Jackpot is also awarded if all positions on the reels are filled with Fireball Symbols.

Area Link is played with at least 1 Upgrade determined by the Phoenix Eggs that triggered the Feature:

Orange Phoenix Upgrade – A random Multiplier (2X, 3X, 5X) is awarded on each Respin, multiplying the value of any new Fireball Symbols landing on the reels.

Magenta Phoenix Upgrade – Area Link plays out on 2 sets of reels instead of 1. Each set of reels plays as an independent game. All prizes are added up and awarded at the end of the Feature.

Red Phoenix Upgrade – Red Fireballs can appear during the Feature, collecting and awarding the value of all Fireball Symbols on the reels. The Red Fireball will then display a random value and lock on the reels with the rest of the Fireball Symbols.

Blue Phoenix Upgrade – Blue Fireballs can appear during the Feature. The value displayed on the Blue Fireballs will be added to a random number of locked Fireballs on the reels.

Green Phoenix Upgrade – Green Fireballs can land during the Feature. Each Green Fireball will have its value boosted by a random amount.

You may want to view the Paytable again to see the specific rules on multiple Upgrades for Area Link, including the order in which Upgrades will be applied to Fireball Symbols.

Area Link can also be triggered by the Phoenix Storm Feature. This occurs randomly in the Base Game when 1 or more Phoenix Fireballs land on the reels. The Phoenix will fly over the Eggs above the reels, awarding an Area Link Feature with 1 or more Upgrades.
