How to Play First Person Lightning Blackjack
First Person Lightning Blackjack is a new online twist on the beloved casino card game. Play and win to generate a mystery Lightning Multiplier for the next round. Win that round, and you can see your blackjack payout multiplied by up to 25X.
Start by choosing a chip from the selection on the bottom of the screen. Next, place the chip on the betting table by clicking on the indicated circle. Clicking again will place another chip of the same value on the table. You can go back to the chip selection to choose different value chips if you wish. Use the undo button (the button with an arrow forming a half-circle) to remove chips and start over. The 2X button will double all bets on the table instantly.
Note: A 100% fee is applied to all bets. For example, a $10 bet will cost $20. The additional cost is used to cover the Lightning Multipliers.
Select DEAL when you are ready to start the game.
The objective of playing First Person Lightning Blackjack online is to beat the Dealer’s score without exceeding 21. Cards are scored at their numerical value. Ace counts as 1 or 11. King, Queen, and Jack score as 10.
Initially, you will receive 2 cards, both of which are face up (showing their values). The Dealer receives 1 face-up card and 1 face-down card.
If the Dealer is showing an Ace, you will be offered the Insurance Bet. This is a side bet on the prospect of the Dealer having Blackjack. The cost of playing the Insurance Bet is equal to half the initial bet (not including the additional fee). The Insurance Bet will pay 2 to 1 if the Dealer does have Blackjack. If the Dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the Insurance Bet and the game round will carry on as normal.
Once the initial cards are dealt, you will be offered the following options:
Double – Double your initial bet (the Lightning fee is excluded for this) and receive 1 further card to complete the round.
Stand – Play out the round with the current cards.
Hit – Receive another card. If you do not exceed 21, you can Hit again.
If the 2 initial cards are of equal value, you will be given the option to Split. This will split your hand into 2 new hands, allowing you to play out the round with 2 hands instead of 1. The cost of splitting is a bet equal to your initial bet.
Once you have played your hand, the Dealer will reveal their cards. The Dealer must act within specific rules. The Dealer must draw cards to 16 and stand on 17 or above. Once the Dealer has drawn their cards, the game round is concluded.
You will win 1:1 on your bet if you beat the Dealer’s score without exceeding 21. Each split hand (if applicable) will be evaluated independently.
You will win 3:2 on your bet if you have Blackjack (Ace + King, Queen, Jack, or 10) and the Dealer does not have Blackjack.
You will lose the hand if you go bust (exceeding a score of 21).
You will lose the hand if the Dealer beats your score without exceeding 21.
If both hands are equal in value, a Push (Tie) is declared. Bets are returned.
Once a First Person Lightning Blackjack game round has concluded and bets are paid, you will be offered the chance to REBET, i.e., automatically place the chips that were bet in the previous round. You can elect to use the chip selection to place different bets if you wish.
At the conclusion of the game round, the Lightning Multiplier will be revealed for the subsequent round. The Lightning Multiplier will be active for players who have won the previous round by beating the Dealer’s hand. The Lightning Multiplier will be revealed in a range of 2X to 25X. When the next round is played, the payout for a winning hand will be multiplied by the Multiplier. The Multiplier only applies to a single hand at the same value as the previous bet. If hands are split, the Lightning Multiplier will be applied to the highest-value hand.
Please note that the Lightning Multiplier is tied to a specific bet. If, for example, you are playing a $5 hand + $5 Lightning fee, the subsequent round’s Lightning Multiplier will apply to the $5 even if you raise the bet. If the bet is lowered, the Lightning Multiplier will apply to the lower bet value. Therefore, it is considered best strategy to constantly play the same bet in First Person Lightning Blackjack. Further information on the Lightning Multiplier payouts can be found via the menu button (? button) on the top right of the screen. If you elect not to play the subsequent round — ending the game session — the Multiplier will be held over for up to 180 days and will be available the next time you play First Person Lightning Blackjack.
You can use the GO LIVE button on the bottom right to play Lightning Blackjack Live. Select YES to proceed when prompted by the pop-up menu. Your game will move to the live dealer studio, where you can play Lightning Blackjack Live with a real croupier, cards, etc. You will have to wait until the current game round ends to place bets on the live table. Otherwise, the rules and betting options are the same as First Person Lightning Blackjack.
